Baby Express Pre-Admitting Packet: Offering an overview of St. Luke's Birth Center services, "Baby Express" is a free program to help plan your care, shorten your hospital admission process, save you time, and give you additional information to assist in planning your upcoming birth during pregnancy. Pre-admit packets can be requested online or requested through St. Luke's Spirit of Women office at (712) 279-1850. 

Pregnancy Planner Checklist: The Birth Center at St. Luke's has created this checklist to assist you through your pregnancy. Print and keep it as a personal reminder and record throughout your pregnancy.

Your Baby is Secure: St. Luke's takes the safety of you and your newborn very seriously. Funded through a St. Luke's Children's Miracle Network grant, our security system features security cameras, locked units, alarm bands on each newborn and identification badges. Visitors can enter the Birth Center only through a video-monitored call system.

Photos on Web Nursery: Your friends and family can view one of your baby's first photos by logging on to St. Luke's homepage and clicking on the web nursery link. For a nominal fee, the photo will also be available to you for purchase. 

Mom’s R & R: When your insurance coverage ends, you and your baby can continue to rest and recuperate in the Birth Center for up to three additional days at a minimal fee if rooms are available.

Sharing the Joy:  Because each birth is a miracle and blessing, Brahms' Lullaby is played on the intercom system at St. Luke's each time a baby is born.

Cradle Roll: Sponsored by St. Luke's Health Foundation, Cradle Roll is a unique commemorative wall to celebrate and honor the arrival of your baby. Friends or loved ones may purchase an inscription on the wall to bear the infant's name and birth date for a minimal donation of $100. Children’s Miracle Network: A member hospital since 1989, St. Luke's Children's Miracle Network has raised nearly $5 million with local generosity. Of those resources, 100% of it has stayed in Siouxland to enhance children's healthcare.

Infant Car Seats: Iowa law requires children to be placed in a car seat. St. Luke's Partners offers safe, portable seats at wholesale prices for St. Luke's patients.
