Pediatric Diabetes

About 1 in every 400 children have Type I diabetes in the United States. The disease can spark many questions for children and their parents, and St. Luke’s Diabetes Center is dedicated to addressing the special concerns of Sioux City children diagnosed with this disease.

Our staff tailors a diabetes treatment plan to the unique needs of each pediatric patient. Plus, they remain committed to helping parents and children better understand diabetes and steps that can be taken to manage the disease through education and compassionate care.

For added reassurance, St. Luke’s Diabetes Center staff has Recognized National Certification from the American Diabetes Association and State Certification from the Department of Public Health and the Department of Human Services.
