Gabby's Room

Gabby's Room is the result of a dream. This one-of-a-kind kid-sanctuary in Sioux City is named after Gabby Benson, an Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia patient.  Gabby's Room features all the amenities to make visiting the hospital a little more comfortable for children undergoing treatments and other procedures. With gifts raised through St. Luke's Children's Miracle Network, the room features:

  • A flat-screen television
  • DVD player
  • Xbox
  • Video games
  • Books and other toys

The room's home-like setting also provides extra comfort including a private restroom and custom made cabinetry to keep medical equipment out of the patient's view. Plus, special twinkle lights in the ceiling allow children to rest "under the stars."
