St. Luke’s state-of-the-art birth center was enhanced through a $10 million expansion in 2006. As you can see in our virtual tour, the birth center offers new suites for comfortable labor and delivery, along with northwest Iowa’s highest rated neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) to offer critical care for babies who need it, right when they need it. You may not be able to plan when your baby will arrive, but you can plan on delivering at St. Luke’s, where everything you need is in one place.

To make labor and delivery easier, St. Luke’s offers childbirth education classes and a number of other pregnancy resources to prepare you for parenthood.

Online Nursery and Cradle Roll

Family and friends of new moms can view the babies at St. Luke’s Birth Center virtually with our online nursery. Babies are listed by date of birth and the mother’s first name and last initial.

New Mom E-Letter sign upFor a more permanent tribute to the birth of your baby, you can feature him or her on Cradle Roll, a commemorative wall in the birth center inscribed with infants’ names and birth dates. Sponsored by St. Luke’s Health Foundation, this wall offers space to honor your baby for a minimal $100 donation. Call the Foundation at (712) 279-3900 to learn more.
