Mental Health
St. Luke’s Center for Behavioral Health offers both inpatient and outpatient mental health care.
Inpatient Unit
The hospital’s inpatient unit offers behavioral stabilization, psychiatric and detox services for adults in a spacious area, complete with a kitchen and recreation room to help transition patients toward independence. Education is done through videos, printed materials and group therapy with a special focus on:
- Coping skills
- Crisis management
- Goal setting
- Medication management
- Cognitive behavioral therapy
- Self-esteem
Outpatient Services
The outpatient behavioral health unit provides outpatient mental health services to chronically or acutely ill adults through a multidisciplinary approach. Treatment includes group therapy and intensive outpatient services. Referrals are accepted from physicians and healthcare providers.
