Located in Sioux City, Iowa, St. Luke's primarily serves the the metropolitan Siouxland area, which encompasses Sioux City and the surrounding cities of Sergeant Bluff, IA; South Sioux City, NE and North Sioux City, SD. With a population of 125,000, Siouxland offers many opportunities for entertainment, sporting events, cultural exhibits, concerts, restaurants and movie theaters. For patients and families that have time to step outside the hospital, recreational opportunities of interest often include the Anderson Pavilion located on the riverfront, ideal for biking and walking along the riverfront; and Historic Fourth Street, a 2 block area with unique shops and restaurants all housed in architecturally historic buildings.
