Holiday festivities kick off with Santa’s House

11/14/2012

Sioux City, IA - Santa’s House, an annual Siouxland, will open on Monday, November 19 at the Sioux City Hotel and Conference Center, located at 4th and Jackson.

At Santa’s House, children can visit with Santa, enjoy delicious treats from Mrs. Claus’ kitchen and shop Santa’s Nifty Gift Shop for great holiday gift ideas. Photos with Santa will also be available for just $5, a nominal fee for a lasting memento of a child’s visit with the big guy himself.

Santa’s House will begin with opening night on Monday, November 19 at 7 pm and run through December 22, open on:

• Thursdays, 6 pm-8 pm

• Saturdays, 10 am-4 pm (except 10 am to 2 pm on December 22)

• Sundays, Noon-4 pm

A special needs day for children with emotional, mental or physical challenges or hearing impairments will also be held. Please call 279-3220 for additional details.

Since its debut in 1989, Santa’s House has raised gifts to support two causes— St. Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network and Sergeant Bluff Kiwanis Youth programs. Santa’s House is coordinated and staffed by volunteers from St. Luke’s Partners and Sergeant Bluff Kiwanis.
