Musketeers, Tyson Event Center go “pink” for breast cancer

Sioux City, IA - The Sioux City Musketeers and Tyson Event Center’s Gateway Arena will again go pink for breast cancer awareness on Saturday, October 23. As part of the third annual “Pink in the Rink” event, the ice rink at Tyson Event Center will be turned pink and the Sioux City Musketeers will wear pink jerseys in support of the fight against breast cancer.
Three dollars of every ticket sold for the Musketeers’ October 23 game will benefit breast cancer education at St. Luke’s Imaging and Breast Screening Center and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Siouxland Affiliate. T-shirts commemorating the evening are on sale at Meet Virginia, Floyd Pump ‘N Pack, Hy-Vee Drugstore, Clear Channel Radio and St. Luke’s Home Care. Game jerseys will be auctioned off immediately following the game with all proceeds donated.
Last year, the event raised over $47,000 for breast cancer awareness and education.
Game tickets may be purchased at the Tyson Event Center box office and all Ticketmaster locations.
