The Levitt Guest Center On-Site Guest Rooms
The Levitt Guest Center, located just down the hall from the Bomgaars Center for Cancer Care at St. Luke's, was created through a generous gift by Nancy Levitt Rosenthal of Sioux City in memory of her first husband, David Levitt, who died of pancreatic cancer.
Designed for the support persons of cancer patients, these rooms may also be reserved by guests supporting patients in other areas of the hospital. Up to seven families can stay in the guest center at one time. The private suites, with private bath, offer a quiet sanctuary where you can rest and renew spirits.
Because of Mrs. Rosenthal's significant gift, there is no charge to stay at the Levitt Center. Gifts of $20.00 or more per night are welcome, and are used to help maintain the facility so others may enjoy its proximity and comfort for years to come. To book a suite call St. Luke’s at (712) 279-3221.
Ronald McDonald House
For out-of-town families with an infant in the NICU or Pediatrics Department,
St. Luke’s works with the Ronald McDonald House to offer a comfortable place to stay close to the hospital and your child. Accommodations are available for families under any financial circumstances, with a suggested donation of $5 per night. Visit the Ronald McDonald House of Siouxland or call (712) 255-4084 to make arrangements.
If you are considering hotel or motel accommodations for your visit, Siouxland offers a wide range of options in the Siouxland area. For support persons who will be spending time renewing their spirit outside the hospital, it may be helpful to view recreational opportunities as you determine your preferred lodging.
