Please note, some procedures may require a doctor's referral for scheduling. Following exams, the hospital will receive written results within two to three business days. Patients are then generally notified of results within one week by their family doctor.

*Please note, for some procedures you may be asked not to eat or drink anything for several hours beforehand, especially if contrast material will be used in your exam. You should inform your physician of any medications you are taking and if you have any allergies, especially to contrast materials. Also, women should always inform their physicians or x-ray technologist if there is any possibility that they are pregnant. many imaging tests are not performed during pregnancy because radiation can be harmful to the fetus.If an x-ray is necessary, precaustions will be taken to minimize radiation exposure to the baby.
